Black Panther star Winston Duke joins cast of The Fall Guy

Winston Duke, best known for playing M'Baku in Black Panther, has joined the cast of Universal Pictures’ upcoming film titled The Fall Guy. The actor will next be seen in the Black Panther sequel titled Wakanda Forever, due for release on 11 November 2022. The Fall Guy is an action film that follows a stuntman who ends up working with an actor he used to double for, trouble begins when the star goes missing.

The film stars Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt in the lead roles while Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Stephanie Hsu, and Winston Duke will be playing the supporting characters. The film is based on a series of the same name created by Glen Larson starring Lee Majors in the lead role. The Fall Guy will be directed by David Leitch based on a screenplay written by Drew Pearce. Leitch is known for directing John Wick, Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde, and Bullet Train while Pearce has written the story for Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation and co-written Iron Man 3.

Ryan Gosling plays the stuntman while Winston Duke plays his friend.  Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays a film star while Emily Blunt plays a prosthetic makeup artist who has a romantic past with Gosling’s stuntman. The filming for The Fall Guy started earlier this week in Australia.
