SDCC 2022: Trailer of Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam launched

The latest trailer of Dwayne Johnson-fronted Black Adam was released at the San Diego Comic-Con.

The actor, popularly known by his WWE name of The Rock, reportedly made a grand entrance at the event wearing his Superhero costume.

Directed by Spanish-American filmmaker Jaume Collett-Serra, Black Adam is backed by Warner Bros.

It is to be noted that Black Adam is known to be the adversary of Shazam in the comic book universe, and similar to the character played by Zachary Levi in the 2019 film, Black Adam too is bestowed with magical powers by the wizard, and his power is drawn from Egyptian Gods as opposed to Shazam's Greek Gods.

The new movie is set to follow the anti-hero nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the powers of the Egyptian gods. Now, freed from his tomb, 'Black Adam' is ready to unleash his form of justice on the modern world.

Apart from Johnson, the film stars an ensemble of the Justice Society, including Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate.
