House of Dragon: Teaser of Game of Thrones prequel out

HBO has released the teaser of the upcoming series House of Dragon. "Gods. Kings. Fire. Blood," says Matt Smith, who plays  Prince Daemon Targaryen, in a voiceover. The tone and feel of the series are similar to Game of Thrones. We even get a glimpse of the iron throne in the series. 

The series is based on George RR Martin's 2018 book Fire & Blood. The story is set 200 years before Game of Thrones, and it chronicles the rise and fall of Targaryens in Westeros. The series is also expected to cover the civil war of Targaryen kings in Westeros that led to the death of the dragons. The conflict is known as 'The dance of the dragons'. 

The series also stars Wil Johnson, John Macmillan, and Savannah Steyn. The series is expected to release in 2022.
