Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring celebrates 20th anniversary

The first film of the franchise titled The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring was released on December 10, 2001.

December 10 marks the 20th year anniversary of the famous trilogy Lord of the Rings. The first film of the franchise titled The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring introduced audiences to the alluring world imagined by author JRR Tolkein. 

To mark the occasion, Hobbiton Movie Set in New Zealand, where the film was shot has announced a celebratory event. A special outdoor film screening where the adventure first began has been organized on the grassy clearing of The Party Field. This is where Bilbo celebrated his eleventyfirst birthday.

The movie set has also announced that it will open up for visitors as soon as the borders open in the near future. There are curated experiences for fans of the Lord of the Rings universe.
