The trailer of Nayanthara's Netrikann was released earlier today.

As revealed by the teaser that was released previously, Nayanthara plays a visually impaired woman who crosses paths with a mysterious serial killer. Nayanthara's character even narrates a story about a fox and a sheep as a metaphor. In this new trailer, we get to see more of the threat she is pitted against - the serial killer player by Ajmal Ameer. When the protagonist witnesses one of the serial killer's murders, she decides to go after him herself. Though the stakes are up against her, the trailer teases that the hunter might actually become the hunted. The two-minute trailer further hints at a high-stakes, edge-of-the-seat thriller in store for the audience.

Directed by Aval-fame Milind Rau, Netrikann is produced by Vignesh Shivan's Rowdy Pictures.

The film also features Manikandan and Saran in prominent roles. Marina-fame Girishh, who also composed the music of Nayanthara's previous release Mookuthi Amman, is the music director of Netrikann. The cinematography is done by Karthik Ganesh G, while Lawrence Kishore is the editor.

Netrikann will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on August 13.
