The makers of Vijay Sethupathi's upcoming film Ka Pae Ranasingam have released the teaser of the film. Featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh in lead roles, the teaser reveals that the film revolves around the water crisis in a village. 

The trailer begins with Vijay Sethupathi making a statement that "Beyond caste and religion, world politics will be determined by water and air in the future". In what seems like the struggle between the ruling class and the public, Vijay Sethupathi stands up for the farmers and is labeled a 'criminal'. Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rajesh is also seen showing resistance as a common woman. 

Directed by debutant P Virumandi, an associate of Airaa-fame Sarjun, the film will be the lead duo's fourth collaboration after Pannaiyarum Padminiyum, Rummy, and Dharma Durai. With music by Ghibran, Kanthaswamy-fame NK Ekhambaram is handling the cinematography for Ka Pae Ranasingam.
