Sangathamizhan Trailer: Not one, but two massy Vijay Sethupathis impress in this 90s style masala fare

CE Features

Right after he briefly attempted a massy role in Sindhubaadh, Vijay Sethupathi goes full mass mode in the recently-released trailer of Sangathamizhan, directed by Vijay Chander.

From the heavy metal guitar riffs by Vivek-Mervin, sliding bikes, revolving cars, MGR nametag, fighting in dustbowls, to the slo-mo walking shots in natural sepia, romancing two heroines, saying punch dialogues, this is clearly a no-holds-barred role for Vijay Sethupathi, who appears in a dual role for the first time.

Though it is clear that Vijay Sethupathi is having a lot of fun, seriousness soon kicks in as politics, problems, and the need for social justice steps in.

The film, also starring Nivetha Pethuraj, Raashi Khanna, Soori, Ravi Kishan, and Ashutosh Rana, is expected to hit the theatres this October.
