The teaser of Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru dropped this evening. The 86-second featurette shows Mahesh narrating the duties of Army soldiers guarding the nation at the border. The next frame shifts to Kurnool town and we see Mahesh preaching to a goon, who tries to attack a group of women with daggers and swords, to be a responsible citizen like the soldiers.

The trailer also gives a sneak peek of Mahesh's humourous side, as well as his anger and courage as an Army man. The actor recreates his popular scene from Okkadu here at the iconic Kondareddy Buruju, Kurnool with a dialogue that goes: Bhayapadevaade beraniki vasthadu...mana daggara berallevamma... (Only a timid person indulges in compromise...I need no compromise...)

Vijayashanti also makes a brief but memorable appearance, leaving her fans asking for more. Towards the end, Prakash Raj, who plays a politician in the film, satirically says, "Prathi Sankranthi ki allullu vastharu...e Sankranthi ki naaku mogudochadu." (Usually, sons-in-law would pay a visit to their in-laws' house for Sankranthi, but here comes a husband this time).

Packed with impressive visuals, racy background score and incredible action sequences, the trailer hints that the film has a lot to offer this Sankranthi.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Sarileru Neekevvaru also features Rashmika Mandanna, Rajendra Prasad and Bandla Ganesh. The film is scheduled for release on January 11.
