Politics and betrayals hold sway in the trailer of Prasthanam. Directed by Deva Katta, the film is a remake of the 2010 Telugu hit of the same name.

Sanjay Dutt plays a powerful dynast dealing with familial and external conflicts. Ali Fazal returns to his Mirzapur zone as a tough-talking goon, while Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey and Manisha Koirala occupy supporting turns.

The trailer promises intense face-offs and thrilling action against the bleak backdrop of Indian politics. Amyra Dastur, last seen in the Kangana Ranaut-starrer Judgementall Hai Kya, plays the female lead opposite Ali.

Produced by Sanjay Dutt Productions, Prasthanam is scheduled for release on September 10. Sanjay and Manisha are reuniting in the film after a gap of 10 years.

Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming films are KGF: Chapter 2, Panipat, Sadak 2, Shamshera, Bhuj: The Pride of India and Torbaaz. Ali Fazal, on the other hand, reprises the role of Guddu Bhaiya in Mirzapur Season 2
