As a build-up to her much-awaited film, Helicopter Eela, Kajol has treated her fans to a recreated version of Alisha Chinai's song Ruk Ruk from Ajay Devgn and Tabu's 1994 film, Vijaypath. The music video features Kajol matching steps to the foot-tapping beats of the carefree number.

While the original track was composed by Anu Malik, the new version of Ruk Ruk is created by Raghav Sachar and sung by the Palomi Ghosh.

Directed by Pradeep Sarkar, Helicopter Eela stars Kajol as an obsessive but loving helicopter mom and National Award-winning Bengali actor Riddhi Sen as her college-going son. The film is adapted from a Gujarati play by writer-filmmaker Anand Gandhi.

Helicopter Eela is produced by Ajay Devgn and Jayantilal Gada. The film is slated for release on October 12.
