The actor spoke to senior journalist Kaveree Bamzai, as a part of Cinema Express' Timepass

In this conversation with senior journalist Kaveree Bamzai, Swara Bhasker discusses why she finds the glamourous roles tougher than the performance-oriented ones, Veere Di Wedding 2, how being political made her lose chances, why she feels that the audience must support all the films equally in the theatres, the untimely death of Sushant Singh Rajput and more.

"We cannot assume the role of a jury in Sushanth's case. There is a process in place for this. If you really love outsiders so much, please watch their films in theatres. Everyone is talking so much about Sushant now but where were all these people when SonchiriyaKedarnath or Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! released? The issue has been hijacked by people with vested interests and it's tragic. I think we are doing a great disservice to Sushant and his memory," says Swara.
