On Sunday, Disney+ Hotstar released the trailer of their upcoming Telugu series Dayaa. Helmed by Pavan Sadineni, the series will premiere on the OTT platform on August 4. 

The trailer starts by showing Kamal Kamaraju filing a missing person complaint with the Police. Ramya Nambeesan's character, a TV news reporter is found to be the missing person. We are then introduced to JD Chakravarthy who plays Dayaa, a mortuary van driver who is married to Eesha Rebba. He finds an unidentified corpse in his lorry and is forced to prove his innocence. The series is set to explore the murder mystery and the role Dayaa has to play in it. 

Babloo Prithiveeraj,  Vishnupriyaa Bhimeneni, Ravi Josh, Mayank Parakh, and Nandagopal round out the cast of Dayaa. With dialogues from Rakendu Mouli, the series has an additional screenplay by Pavan Sadineni and Vasant Jurru. Vivek Kalepu is the cinematographer for this series which has music by Shravan Bharadwaj and editing by Viplav Nyshadam.
