The trailer of Adivi Sesh's much-waited film Major was released earlier today. The film is a biopic based on the life of 26/11 braveheart, NSG Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan.

The two-minute trailer was released by Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu, who is one of the presenters of the film.

The trailer gives a glimpse into the emotional, nail-biting story of the real-life hero who stood tall in one of the darkest hours of Modern India. The film traces Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan's journey from childhood, to teenage years, and the years leading up to his time in the Army. It will end with the crucial role he played during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks when the Major met his tragic end.

Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, Major also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi, and Murli Sharma in pivotal roles. With music by Sricharan Pakala, the film will be released simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, and additionally dubbed in Malayalam

Bankrolled by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar Ghattamaneni's GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies, Major is set for a release in theatres on June 3.
