Drushyam 2, the much-awaited Telugu remake of Malayalam hit mystery thriller Drishyam 2, will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on November 25, announced the streamer. The teaser of the film was also released by the streamer earlier today.

Incidentally, Drishyam 2 was also an Amazon Prime Video release. Drushyam 2 is a direct sequel to the 2014 remake, which starred Venkatesh Daggubati in the role of Rambabu, a cable television operator. In the sequel, Ram Babu, who is now a theatre owner, once again aims to outwit the police investigating the murder from the first film. As tables turn, it’s upon Rambabu to give it his all and protect his close ones yet again in this gripping tale of deceit, lies and mystery

Unlike Drushyam, which was directed by actor Sripriya, Drushyam 2 is directed by Jeethu Joseph, who helmed both the parts of the Malayalam original.

The film also stars Meena, Nadhiya, Naresh, Kruthika, Esther Anil, Sampath Raj, and Poorna.

Drushyam 2 is produced by D Suresh Babu, Rajkumar Sethupathy and Antony Perumbavoor of Suresh Productions, Rajkumar Theatres and Max Movies.
