The film starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan, the period drama, is inspired by the lives of Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, who fought against British rule in India.

RRR teaser: Here are some breathtaking shots from SS Rajamouli's upcoming film

RRR teaser has become the major talking point. Looks like SS Rajamouli has created another visually stunning movie that will match up to the grandeur and scale of his blockbuster hit Baahubali series.

Ram Charan's character is inspired by freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju.
On the other hand, Jr NTR's role is based on the life of Komaram Bheem.
Produced by V Danayya of DVV Entertainments, RRR is allegedly made on a budget of Rs 400 crore.
The film has been in the making for two years, and it is all set to release on 7 January 2022.
Undoubtedly, RRR is the next big thing in Tollywood cinema as SS Rajamouli's Baahubali series turned the whole world towards Telugu cinema.
RRR also marks the Telugu debut of Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt.
Another Bollywood star Ajay Devgn is also playing a prominent role in the multilingual film.
The grandeur and scale of RRR are reminiscent of Baahubali series.
Rajamouli has imagined a grand and breathtaking India for RRR.
And the VFX team of the film seems to have done their best to visualise his vivid imaginations.
