Actor Nagarjuna Akkineni has been hosting the Telugu reality show Bigg Boss for the last few years, and he is back as the host for the tenth season as well. On Sunday night, the organisers introduced the contestants entering the Bigg Boss house. A total of 16 contestants have entered the house this season, and the lineup features several familiar faces.
The first celebrity to enter the house is Bengali actor Debjani Modak. Though she hails from Bengal, she has acted in a few Telugu serials and shows. She is popular for the serial Ennenno Janmala Bandham and could be one of the strong contenders for the season title.
The next contestant is actor Thrigun, who has acted in a few films but became popular with PSV Garuda Vega, starring Rajasekhar and directed by Praveen Sattaru.
The third contestant to enter the house is Jhansi. She is a singer who is not very popular yet and has now entered Bigg Boss after securing a Golden Ticket. While a few contestants entered through the show Bigg Boss: Agni Pareeksha, Jhansi got direct entry into the house.
Another contestant is Sudheer, a YouTuber who is popular for his channel Sudheer Talks. He travelled to Singapore, where he was reportedly cheated by a friend. He then started working part-time in housekeeping. Later, a person from a digital company offered him a job in its marketing department. From there, Sudheer eventually made his way into the Bigg Boss house.
Aman is the fifth contestant to enter the house. He came through Agni Pareeksha, where he secured the maximum votes from the audience. Host Nagarjuna has already given him a few tasks, and he is ready to take them on.
Actor Bigg Boss is another contestant in Bigg Boss. She started her career as an actor and became popular through Telugu serials. After someone commented on her weight, she took it seriously and reduced her weight from 80 kg to 60 kg in three months. Entering Bigg Boss has been her dream, as she considers it a big platform and an opportunity for her second innings.
Ram Prasad is another contestant who has entered the house. He is known for the Jabardasth comedy show and has also acted in several films. As a popular television personality, it will be interesting to see how he plays the game inside the house.
The next contestant is Shalini, who won her place through Agni Pareeksha. She said that she is very talkative, and viewers will get to see that side of her in the house in the coming days.
The next contestant is actor Temper Vamsi. He hails from Narasaraopet and later moved to Hyderabad. Director Puri Jagannadh gave him his first opportunity, and he went on to play villains in several films. He became popular with Temper, in which he played a villain, and people have called him Temper Vamsi ever since. He said he wants to get close to the members of every household through this Bigg Boss season.
Srushti is another contestant selected through Agni Pareeksha. She said that mingling with everyone comes naturally to her, and viewers will get to see how she plays the game in the house.
Another Jabardasth actor, Naresh, has also entered the house. He said that if people Google his name after the show, he wants the results to show ‘Bigg Boss Naresh’. He is determined to work hard and make a mark in the house.
Another contestant from Agni Pareeksha is Charan. He believes that his personality is his biggest strength and wants to make people laugh during his stay in the Bigg Boss house.
Actor Krishnudu is another contestant in the house and is popular for his film Vinayakudu. He said that he met with an accident when he was trying to establish himself in the film industry, which led to significant weight gain. While people may consider him innocent, he promised that they will get to see another side of his personality in the house.
Another contestant is actor Varshini Sounderajan. She has acted in films, web series and the comedy show Jabardasth. Varshini was born in Hyderabad to a Tamil family and completed her education in the city. She made her acting debut with Chandamama Kathalu and later acted in the web series Pelli Gola. She has also been part of Jabardasth on television.
Rohith is another contestant who was selected through Agni Pareeksha. He said that he intends to play his natural game inside the house.
The final contestant is Mukesh. He wanted to become an actor and started his career as a junior artiste before eventually playing lead roles. He said that the Telugu film industry brought him this far and that he wants to give his best, win people’s hearts and make the most of his Bigg Boss journey. He is popular with the TV serial Guppedantha Manasu with the Rishi character.
