S Krishna, who has been associated with director Anil Ravipudi as a co-writer for several films and contributed to many of his hits, is now making his directorial debut with High. Apart from directing the film, Krishna is also playing a key role in it and has turned producer along with Harish Peddi and Sekhar Divvela. Imagespark Entertainment and Myra Creations are jointly producing the film, which promises to be an engaging blend of emotions, drama and high-energy moments.

Apart from Krishna, the film features Ananya Sharma, Pallavi Dora, Krishna Kamal, Sai Krishna and Revanth (Bulliraju) in important roles. The makers have now officially announced November 27 as the film's release date. The newly released poster features the lead characters in different expressions. Bulliraju, Pallavi Dora and Ananya Sharma bring contrasting shades to the composition, while Krishna Kamal and Sai Krishna strike different poses. S Krishna adds further weight to the ensemble cast.

According to the makers, the film explores how different individuals seek their own versions of a high through emotional, psychological and moral choices. One character wishes to end her life, another seeks pleasure through money and alcohol, while a young woman finds strength in reclaiming her self-respect. Her lover, meanwhile, pursues the thrill of dangerous bets. Through these interconnected stories, the film examines how life's most meaningful highs come from making the right choices rather than taking destructive paths.

The film's previously unveiled teaser showcased S Krishna's bold storytelling approach, supported by intense performances from the cast. The makers believe that the film's content will largely appeal to Gen Z audiences.

Mallu Nayak and Suneel Reddy are handling the cinematography, while Vikasa Badisa is composing the music. GRK Saran Ravula is the editor, and V Venkat is choreographing the action sequences.
