Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas joined hands for the first time as actor and director for Adarsha Kutumbam - House No. 47. Produced by Suryadevara Radhakrishna (Chinababu) under his Haarika & Hassine Creations banner, the film features Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead. With music composed by Thaman S, the film registered steady, but not exceptional, collections on its first day.

Compared to Venkatesh's previous films, this is not a big number for the actor on the opening day. According to Sacnilk, the film collected a worldwide gross of ₹19 crore. It earned ₹11.40 crore gross and ₹9.75 crore net in India, while the overseas market contributed ₹7.60 crore gross. The overall worldwide gross stands at ₹19 crore. These collections came from 3,073 shows, with an occupancy of 44 per cent.

When compared to Venkatesh's earlier films, this is a relatively low opening, but still a decent start for the actor. His last film, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, collected ₹23 crore gross worldwide on its opening day, which remains the highest for his career. On the other hand, Trivikram Srinivas is one of the top directors in Telugu cinema and enjoys a huge fan following for his writing, especially his one-liners and meaningful dialogues.Venkatesh and Srinidhi Shetty play the lead roles, while Nivetha Pethuraj, Nara Rohith, Sachin Khedekar, Rao Ramesh and Brahmaji appear in important roles. The film was initially supposed to release in August and later had a couple of release dates announced before finally hitting the screens on October 30.

Venkatesh and Srinidhi Shetty play Chittibabu and Swarna, respectively, who are parents to Sarwa and Sampoorna, played by Prajwal and Yuvina Parthavi. Chittibabu works in a bank and struggles with middle-class family problems after his wife loses money in a chit fund. His son needs medical attention, and Chittibabu also loses his bank job. However, he unexpectedly wins a ₹100 crore lottery. A real estate broker arranges a house for the family in a posh gated community, as they can pay the amount once Chittibabu receives the lottery money.

Meanwhile, a notorious gang from Bihar plans to steal the money from Chittibabu. Interestingly, Chittibabu and his family members kill the gang, surprising everyone with their fighting skills. Who is Chittibabu, what is his background, and what personal grudges do the other family members have against the Bihar gang? These questions form the crux of the story.

The film has plenty of Trivikram-style punchlines, rhyming words and meaningful dialogues. Venkatesh delivers a perfect performance as Chittibabu and carries the film on his shoulders, while Srinidhi Shetty does justice to her role alongside him. The two children also showcase their acting skills and deliver decent performances.

The film has received a positive response, and trade analysts expect collections to improve over Saturday and Sunday. Several areas in Andhra Pradesh, including major cities such as Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada, are facing floods, making it difficult for audiences to step out and watch films in theatres. Despite the challenging conditions, Adarsha Kutumbam has registered decent openings and started its box-office journey on a steady note.
