After Hi Nanna (2023), actor Nani has been on a three film streak in the action genre. After the criticisms received for his recent release, The Paradise, Nani opened up about his upcoming films in an interview.

When asked about his next with Sujeeth's Bloody Romeo, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Nani said, "I can't go into more details about it, because we just started on the film. But that also has violence. And not of the raw and extreme kind. It still has its theatrical moments though. Sujeeth came up with a twist to the violence which makes it extremely witty and action oriented. It is such a contrast to the previous film."

He went on to say, "It will be coming immediately after Bloody Romeo. I don't know if I can call it a family film. But it is a love story and it is for everyone, including kids. I know The Paradise and Hit 3 got A certificates, and I know there is a huge bunch of kids who loves me. Whenever I go to the theatres or any other function, the first ones who run to me are the kids. And I feel terrible that I couldn't see them in the theatre (for The Paradise and Hit 3), of course I don't want them to be there too. Even Bloody Romeo is for everyone. But something beautiful is coming up."

Bloody Romeo's director Sujeeth, previously made the Pawan Kalyan-starrer They Call Him OG. The upcoming film is reportedly set to release in 2027.
