Senior actor Srikanth, who was recently seen in character roles in films like Game Changer, Devara, Skanda and Kotabommali PS, is now returning as the lead actor with Mister Middleclass. The film is directed by G Nageswara Reddy, who is known for comedy entertainers like Seema Sastry, Seema Tapakai and Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam.
Actor Laya is playing the female lead opposite Srikanth in this film. Actor Rajendra Prasad is also part of the cast and plays the role of Lord Venkateswara.
Speaking at the teaser launch event, Srikanth said he was delighted to attend a teaser launch as a hero after a long gap. Popular duo SV Krishna Reddy and K Achchi Reddy attended the event as chief guests.
“Thanks to director Krishna Reddy and producer Achchi Reddy. I’m very happy to be attending the teaser launch of my film as a hero after a long time. Kamalakar garu called me and said that we should make a good entertainer. I immediately said yes. After learning that Nageswara Reddy is the director, my confidence increased even more,” said Srikanth.
He further added, “It has been a long time since I acted in a film that connects with middle-class families. I’m extremely happy to be part of such a wonderful film after so many years. I enjoyed every moment while working on this movie.”
Actor Muralidhar played Srikanth’s father in the film. “Muralidhar is an actor with excellent timing. He played my father and I have done many good films with Laya earlier. One such memorable film is Swarabhishekam. She looks exactly the same even now, and I am very happy to act with her again,” said Srikanth.
Sai Karthik has composed the music, while Chandu and GK are producing the film. “Sai Karthik has provided very good music and it was also a pleasure working again after a long time with wonderful actors like Sunil, Vennela Kishore, Raghu Babu and Ali,” he added.
“I have worked in many films with Rajendra Prasad, and I’m delighted to act with him once again. In this movie, he portrayed the role of Lord Venkateswara with great sincerity and dedication. Diamond Ratnababu has written very good dialogues,” said Srikanth, expressing confidence that the film would become a big hit.
