Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya are playing the lead pair in Chennai Love Story, which is being produced by SKN and Sai Rajesh. The producers had earlier delivered cult films like Colour Photo and Baby.

The film is being produced under the banners Amrutha Productions and Mass Movie Makers. Sai Rajesh has provided the story, while Ravi Namburi is directing the project. Melody Brahma Mani Sharma is composing the music.

The makers unveiled the second song, 'Vadhalane', on Monday evening at a grand event attended by several renowned music directors, including M M Keeravani. Music composers such as Madhavapeddi Suresh, Kalyani Malik, Anup Rubens, Hari Gowra, Mark K Robin, Chaitan Bharadwaj, Sweekar Agasthi, Suresh Bobbili, Vivek Sagar, and Sricharan Pakala also attended the event.

Speaking on the occasion, M M Keeravani said he became a fan of Sai Rajesh after watching Baby. “After watching Baby, I myself became a fan of Sai Rajesh. Looking at the songs and visuals of Chennai Love Story, it feels like the film will match the standards of Baby and emerge as a feel-good entertainer. My friend Mani Sharma has composed 'Vadhalane' beautifully. The song has a haunting quality, and music lovers should never let go of it. I hope it becomes a huge success,” said Keeravani.

He further added, “If a love story has seven songs, you can already assume it will become a blockbuster because music is the soul of a love story. The music has perfectly suited the film. The lead pair also look fresh and appealing. Their expressions and visuals are impressive. I’m happy to meet so many music director friends on one stage, and I wish the entire team of Chennai Love Story all the very best.”

Actress Sri Gouri Priya revealed that she initially aspired to become a singer. “I once wanted to become a singer, and in almost every competition I used to sing Mani Sharma garu’s songs. Now, acting as a lead heroine in a film scored by him feels like an honour. I thank producers Sai Rajesh and SKN, lead actor Kiran, and director Ravi for giving me such an important role in a music-oriented film,” she said.

She added that sharing the stage with so many music directors made her extremely happy as a music lover.

Kiran Abbavaram said he was eagerly waiting for the film’s release. “I have already spoken a lot about this film earlier. Just like everyone else, I too am eagerly waiting for its release and keep asking the producers to release it soon,” he said.

Talking about the song 'Vadhalane', Kiran revealed that it was shot near a beautiful temple in Pondicherry. “While narrating a particular scene to me and Gouri, director Ravi became emotional, and all three of us had tears in our eyes. The very first visual in the song will remain one of the iconic moments in Telugu cinema,” said Kiran Abbavaram.

The actor also thanked Mani Sharma for composing soulful songs for the film. “Every song in this movie has been composed beautifully. If you love this song now as a lyrical video, you will love it even more after watching the film. The song will continue haunting audiences long after they leave the theatre. I felt deeply excited when I first heard it, and I still feel the same. I hope everyone enjoys the song,” he added.
