Director Ajay Bhupathi, who made a strong debut with RX 100, also introduced Payal Rajput as the female lead in that film. The movie was a huge success and gave a big break to actor Kartikeya Gummakonda. Ajay Bhupathi later earned further recognition with Mangalavaaram, a horror thriller.
Now, the director is set to introduce Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni, grandson of yesteryear superstar Krishna and nephew of Mahesh Babu, as the lead actor in Srinivasa Mangapuram. Rasha Thadani, daughter of Raveena Tandon, is making her Telugu debut as the female lead.
The first song, 'Alelle Alelle', released a few days ago and received a positive response. The makers are now all set to unveil the second song, 'Manga Manga', on May 13. With this, the promotions of the film have picked up pace, and the team is reportedly aiming for a summer release.
The film is presented by noted producer C Ashwini Dutt under the Vyjayanthi Movies banner, while P Kiran is producing it under Chandamama Kathalu Pictures. Senior actor Mohan Babu plays a key role in the film, and the music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
Touted to be an intense romantic drama, the film has generated curiosity about how Ajay Bhupathi has shaped the performances of the debutants. Most of the shooting has taken place in and around Tirupati. Earlier, the makers also unveiled Brahmaji’s look, in which he plays a singer named Balu.
