Actor Satya Dev, who has been part of experimental and concept-driven films, is coming up with a project titled Rao Bahadur. The film is directed by Venkatesh Maha, who also handles writing and editing. It is presented by Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar under GMB Entertainments, and jointly produced by A+S Movies and SriChakraas Entertainments.

The anticipation around the film has been steadily building, especially after its first glimpse and the song, 'O Sundari', which transported audiences into a beautifully recreated vintage era. The song’s timeless melody and elegant visuals played a key role in boosting the film’s early buzz.

The makers have now announced July 3 as the new release date. The latest poster further reinforces the film’s atmospheric tone. Satya Dev is seen in a poised, elderly avatar, dressed in royal purple attire and styled like a powerful nobleman. The intricate fan, layered pearls, and ornate backdrop come together to create a striking visual. The regal production design, combined with his intense expression, hints at a world filled with secrets and psychological complexity.

Deepa Thomas plays the female lead, while Vikas Muppala, Bala Parasar, Anand Bharathi, Pranay Vaka, and Master Kiran appear in key roles. Kartik Parmar handles the cinematography, Smaran Sai composes the music, and Rohan Singh is in charge of production design.

Rao Bahadur promises not just visual grandeur, but also a narrative that delves into legacy, hidden truths, and the haunting echoes of a bygone aristocratic world. More updates are expected soon as the film gears up for its release.
