Actor Raj Tarun is in search of a solid commercial success, especially after his recent films failed to make an impact. The actor is currently juggling multiple projects, and one among them is Tortoise. The film is jointly produced by Vijay Choudary, Shashidhar Nalla, Ramisetti Rambabu, and Madhupala Suresh under the banners of SK Golden Arts, Prashwita Entertainment, NVL Creations, and Madhupala Maha Movies.

Amrutha Choudary stars as the female lead opposite Raj Tarun in this thriller, while Srinivas Avasarala and Dhanya Balakrishna appear as another pair, playing key roles. The film is directed by Ritwik Kumar.

The makers have officially announced that the film has wrapped up its shoot and is currently in the post-production stage. Music for the film is composed by Anup Rubens.

Speaking about the film, the producers said that Tortoise stands out for its unique and fresh concept. “Our film Tortoise is very new and different. It has a distinct storyline and will be a special film in Raj Tarun’s career, marking his 25th project. The characters played by Srinivas Avasarala, Dhanya Balakrishna, and Amrutha Choudary are strong and impactful. It’s a gripping thriller with a fresh narrative style,” they said.

The makers also revealed the core idea of the film. “The protagonist suffers from sleepwalking, and during one such episode, he ends up killing a girl. What happens next forms the crux of the story,” they added.

With shooting now complete, the team aims to wrap up post-production soon and release the film in the near future.
