Actor T Gopichand’s next film, tentatively titled Gopichand 34, was launched in a grand manner on Sunday. The film marks the directorial debut of noted action choreographer Vvenkat. It is being produced by Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy under the banner of 70MM Entertainments, known for backing content-driven cinema. The project is being mounted on a large scale.

The makers have confirmed that Malayalam actress Anarkali Nazar has been finalised as the female lead, marking her debut in Telugu cinema.

The film was formally launched with a traditional pooja ceremony, attended by the core team and several special guests. Director Shiva Nirvana, producer KL Damodar Prasad, and Mythri Movie Makers’ Ravi Shankar handed over the script, marking the beginning of the project.

Action choreographers Ram–Lakshman switched on the camera, while Mallemala Shyam Prasad Reddy gave the first clap. Producer Dil Raju directed the honorary first shot. The regular shoot is expected to commence soon.

With strong backing from 70MM Entertainments, Gopichand 34 promises a fresh concept with high production values and solid technical support. For his debut, Vvenkat has reportedly crafted a script that presents Gopichand in a fierce, action-packed avatar rooted in intense drama and emotion.

On the technical front, Shamdat ISC will handle cinematography, while Sam CS is composing the music. National Award-winning editor Sreekar Prasad is on board for editing, and the production design is done by Rama Krishna and Monika.
