Actor Kiran Abbavaram, who has stepped into production to support new talent, is backing Thimmarajupalli TV under his banner KA Productions, with Teja Velpucharla as co-producer. The film marks the directorial debut of V Muniraju and introduces Sai Tej and Veda Jalandhar as the lead pair.
Set against a rural backdrop, Thimmarajupalli TV is a period suspense drama that blends emotion and nostalgia embedded in its storytelling. The film is all set for a theatrical release on April 17.
A promotional event was held in Hyderabad to announce the release date, where the cast and crew shared their experiences and expressed confidence in the film. Describing the origins of the film's plot, Kiran Abbavaram shared, “This film is a very honest attempt. It is inspired by real-life incidents from the 1990s, when a single television would bring an entire village together. Instead of following a commercial format, we focused on portraying innocence, relationships, and human emotions with authenticity. We have made this film with new talent, and I believe audiences will connect with it.”
Director V Muniraju thanked the producer for his support and said the film captures real village life with emotional depth and subtle suspense. Lead actor Sai Tej shared that the project is a dream come true for him, as he moved from working as an assistant cameraman to playing the lead role, crediting Kiran Abbavaram for the opportunity.
The film’s technical team includes Vamsikanth Rekhana as music director, Akshay Ram Podishetti as cinematographer, and Sudheer Macharla as art director, all of whom are expected to add depth to the film’s narrative.
Thimmarajupalli TV promises a nostalgic cinematic experience, transporting audiences back to 1990s village life, filled with innocence, emotions, and a touch of suspense.
