The awards ceremony for the Telengana Gaddar Film Awards 2026, was held on Ugadi. Chiranjeevi is this year's recipient of the NTR National Award. Celebrating Chiranjeevi, actor Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi's son, took to social media to write about the win.

He added, "My sincere thanks to Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Revanth Reddy Garu and the Government of Telangana for recognizing talent and hosting such a grand and memorable celebration."

Chiranjeevi was awarded the NTR National Award for being an eminent artist who has made outstanding contributions to the growth and development of the Indian cinema.
