On the occasion of Mohan Babu's birthday and Ugadi, the makers of The Paradise, which stars Nani, have revealed Mohan Babu's character from the film. Srikanth Odela directs the action film which is set to open in theatres on August 21.
In The Paradise, Mohan Babu will play the antagonist, Shikanja Maalik. A behind the scenes video was released, which included Mohan Babu's look test and a small glimpse into a character, who seems to be a ruthless gangster.
Nani took to X to wish actor Mohan Babu for his birthday and also wrote, "See you in the next schedule Sir."
Meanwhile, director Srikanth wrote, "Happy birthday MOHAN BABU SIR. Thank you very much for the wonderful experience. I will always cherish these memories. Wishing you great health and continued success sir."
The cast of The Paradise also includes Raghav Juyal, Sonali Kulkarni, and Sampoornesh Babu, among others. Nani reunites with Srikanth Odela after the 2023 film, Dasara.
Anirudh has composed music for the film. The first single, 'Aaya Sher', was released earlier, and currently has more than 68 million views for the Telugu version alone.
The crew of the film also includes Ch Sai as the director of photography, Naveen Nooli as the editor, and Avinash Kolla as the production designer.
Sudhakar Cherukuri is producing the film under his SLV Cinemas banner, with Gopi Chand Innamuri serving as a co-producer.
