Swayambhu team unveils colourful poster of first single on Holi

Nikhil Siddhartha-starrer period drama Swayambhu is gearing up to unveil its first song soon

On the occasion of Holi, the makers of Swamyabhu released a vibrant poster, hinting at a high-energy festive track. After receiving a strong response to its teaser, the team has now dropped an eye-catching poster of the film’s first single. The poster features Nikhil in a striking and intense avatar, radiating charisma against a colourful festive backdrop. The visual suggests that the song will be a lively, celebratory number that could turn into a festive anthem.

Ever since the teaser was released, Swayambhu has emerged as one of the most anticipated films in Nikhil’s career. The teaser impressed audiences with its grand scale, rich production values, and compelling narrative set during India’s glorious golden era.

The story carries strong mythological undertones and revolves around themes of heritage, courage, and cultural pride. A key highlight is the powerful symbolism of the Sengol, hinting at a narrative rooted in legacy and honor. Nikhil appears in a fierce and commanding role, with the teaser showcasing breathtaking visuals, intense drama, and action sequences.

The film is directed by Bharat Krishnamachari and boasts an impressive technical team. Music is composed by Ravi Basrur, known for his work in KGF and Salaar, while cinematography is handled by KK Senthil Kumar, celebrated for his work in Baahubali and RRR. The film has reportedly been shot over 170 days, making it one of the most ambitious projects in recent times.

Produced by Bhuvan and Shreekar under Pixel Studios, Swayambhu is envisioned as an epic tribute to India’s rich history and timeless glory. Naba Natesh and Samyuktha are playing the female leads in this film. It is slated for a grand worldwide release in Summer 2026.
