Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor are playing the lead pair in Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film is produced by Venkat Satish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas, while leading production houses Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings are presenting it.

The film has already created strong buzz with its musical promotions. The first single 'Chikiri Chikiri' turned out to be an instant chartbuster, and the recently released second single 'Rai Rai Raa Raa' has further heightened expectations. Music maestro AR Rahman is composing for the film, marking his return to Telugu cinema after a long gap.

Amidst this growing hype, rumours began circulating on social media regarding the film’s runtime, with various speculative figures being shared online. Addressing these claims, the film’s PR team issued an official clarification.

“Don’t believe any rumours circulating online about the final runtime of #Peddi. Only the first half of Peddi has been locked, and the re-recording for it is in the completion stage by AR Rahman. The second half is currently in the final stage of shooting, with editing progressing simultaneously at a brisk pace. It will be completed very soon. Everything is right on track for the grand release on April 30, 2026,” the statement read.

With production progressing steadily and post-production work happening simultaneously, the makers reaffirmed that the film is on schedule for its grand worldwide release on April 30, 2026.
