Actors Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Deverakonda are yet to star together in a film. However, this has not kept them from being affectionate with each other. It is worth noting that they share a common connection as Shahid starred in Kabir Singh, the Hindi remake of Vijay's film Arjun Reddy. Shahid is also part of the lead cast of director Homi Adjania's Cocktail 2, alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon. Perhaps this association explains why Shahid wished both Vijay and Rashmika on their recent marriage.

Taking to his Instagram Stories on Saturday, Shahid shared Vijay and Rashmika's wedding picture and wrote, "Wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter and solid teamwork. So happy for you guys. Big hug."

A couple of years ago, Shahid showed some affection for Vijay at a public event and thanked him for making Arjun Reddy, which paved the way for Kabir Singh. He eventually went on to kiss Vijay on his head and told him in a tongue-in-cheek manner, "Now that I know what Arjun Reddy is all about, I just want to ask you a simple question: How has Arjun Reddy become family man?" Shahid was referring to Vijay's film The Family Star, also featuring actor Mrunal Thakur.

On the other hand, in a recent interview with Puja Talwar, Shahid said that he was "having a blast with Rashmika" on the set of Cocktail 2 and described working with his co-stars as a delightful experience.

Shahid can now be seen in a lead role in Vishal Bhardwaj's film O'Romeo. Meanwhile, Vijay and Rashmika are set to celebrate their wedding with a grand reception on March 04, Wednesday.
