Another mystical thriller Vasudheva Sutham is all set to hit theatres soon. Produced by Dhanalaxmi Badarla under the Rainbow Cinemas banner, the film is directed by Vykunt Bonu and stars Mahendran and Ambikavani as the lead pair. The trailer of the film was unveiled on Tuesday at an event held in Hyderabad. Earlier, the makers released posters, a glimpse, and a teaser, which created good curiosity among audiences.

With the trailer launch, the makers announced that the film will be released on July 10. The story revolves around a revered temple in Odisha dedicated to Lord Vasudeva, where a powerful and mysterious object called ‘Brahma Padartham’ (Divine Essence) is secretly protected. Possessing immense energy, the object becomes the target of dark forces that want to capture its power and dominate the universe. This sets the stage for a battle between good and evil.

Mahendran plays the protagonist, a determined warrior who stands firm to protect Dharma against these powerful forces. The trailer showcases a gripping mix of high-octane action, mystical elements, and a strong mythological backdrop.

The action sequences look impactful, further elevated by a powerful background score. The Garuda shot at the end of the trailer adds a strong mythological touch. The trailer hints at a fast-paced mystical thriller that blends modern action with elements of Indian mythology.

Director Vykunt Bonu said that he initially narrated two different stories to the producer and she liked both of them. “Later, I developed a story set against the backdrop of the famous temple in Odisha. After hearing it, the producer asked me to drop the earlier scripts and proceed with this story,” said the director.

He added that Mahendran immediately agreed to play the lead after listening to the story. “I also narrated the story to Mani Sharma sir and told him to take it up only if he liked it. He approved it and started working immediately. The film is releasing on July 10. After watching it, audiences will definitely talk about Mani Sharma sir’s songs and background score. The last 45 minutes will be on another level, and the film will not disappoint anyone,” said Vykunt Bonu.

Ambikavani is playing the female lead opposite Mahendran, while John Vijay, Mimgopi, Sureshchandra Menon, Ishwarya Lakshmi, Tulasi, Rajev Kanakala and others are playing key roles in it.
