In the current generation, actor Ram Pothineni recently announced that he is turning director with his upcoming project. Actor Adivi Sesh also directed a couple of films during the early phase of his career and continues to contribute as a writer. Now, another talented actor, Kiran Abbavaram, who tasted success with recent films like KA and K-Ramp, is all set to be seated on the director's chair.
Kiran Abbavaram has firmly established himself as one of the promising talents in Telugu cinema. Apart from acting, he has already showcased his writing skills with the successful film SR Kalyanamandapam. Now, he is taking on multiple responsibilities as the lead actor, story writer, screenplay writer and director for his most ambitious project yet.
The yet-to-be-titled film will be produced by noted overseas distributor Sudhakar Chaganti, who is making his debut as a producer under the Joy Films banner. Suresh Yerra is serving as the co-producer. Mounted on a grand scale, the film is said to be the biggest-budget project in Kiran Abbavaram’s career so far.
The announcement poster has created curiosity with the tagline, ‘Ek Dum Bindass Pakaane Waale.’ Devika Bhat is making her Telugu debut as the female lead opposite Kiran Abbavaram. Senior actors Sharat Kumar and Sai Kumar will be seen in key roles. The film is being presented as a youthful entertainer with strong family emotions, and the makers promise a fresh narrative that appeals to audiences across all age groups.
The film was officially launched on Friday in Hyderabad with a grand pooja ceremony attended by the cast and crew. Soon after the launch, the makers began the regular shooting, with the lead actors participating in the first schedule.
For his directorial debut, Kiran Abbavaram has prepared a high-energy commercial entertainer packed with elements designed to appeal to audiences. The actor-director is expected to present himself in a completely new dimension with this project.
Popular cinematographer Viswas Daniel is handling the visuals, while Bheems Ceciroleo is composing the music. Sudheer Macharla is taking care of the production design, and Santhosh Naidu is handling the editing.
