One of the most successful Telugu web series on JioHotstar, Save The Tigers, is all set to return with its third season. After the tremendous success of its first two installments, the makers have now unveiled an entertaining trailer that takes the franchise’s signature marital comedy to an entirely new level.
The trailer opens in a familiar setting, with three frustrated husbands gathering at a bar to lament the realities of married life. Rahul, played by Abhinav Gomatam, vents his frustration at those who glorified marriage, while Vikram, portrayed by Krishna Chaitanya, humorously claims that the concept must have been invented by an enemy of men. Completing the trio is Priyadarshi’s Ghanta Ravi, who joins the conversation with his own tales of domestic struggles.
As expected, relationship conflicts continue to drive the narrative. Vikram finds himself engaged in a legal battle over financial responsibilities within marriage, challenging the stigma associated with non-earning husbands. His wife Rekha, played by Deviyani Sharma, stands her ground. Meanwhile, the ongoing marital tensions between Rahul and Madhuri (Pavani Gangireddy), as well as Ghanta Ravi and Hymavathi (Jordar Sujatha), add further layers of humor and conflict.
However, the third season takes an unexpected turn when the story shifts to a celestial setting. Vennela Kishore appears as Lord Indra, also known as Gupta, who stumbles upon a startling revelation — every husband on Earth seems deeply unhappy. Assisted by his aides, played by Abhay Bethiganti and Gundu Sudarshan, the divine ruler observes the struggles of married men and humorously compares marital life to walking on thorns.
Delivering witty dialogues that blend Telugu and English, Indra decides to intervene and conduct a cosmic social experiment. Curious about the contrast between ancient wisdom and modern-day realities, he transports the three protagonists into alternate realities where their lives take dramatically different turns.
In these parallel worlds, Ghanta Ravi becomes a powerful MLA, Rahul transforms into a successful screenwriter, and Vikram rises to become a high-profile CEO. Fame, success, financial stability, and seemingly ideal relationships suddenly become part of their lives, creating a fascinating contrast with their real-world struggles.
The trailer suggests that the series will seamlessly shift between these two worlds, balancing fantasy elements with relatable relationship drama. Packed with humor, chaos, emotions, and thought-provoking situations, Save The Tigers Season 3 appears set to offer audiences another entertaining ride.
The much-awaited third season will begin streaming on JioHotstar from June 19.
