Senior actor Ravi Teja is pinning high hopes on his upcoming film Irumudi. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, known for acclaimed films like Ninnu Kori and Majili, the emotional family drama marks the filmmaker's first collaboration with Ravi Teja.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Irumudi has already generated strong buzz with its first glimpse. The excitement grew further after the release of its first single, 'Irumudi Kattu', a spiritually uplifting Ayyappa devotional song that went on to become a chartbuster.
Having completed his portion of the shoot, Ravi Teja has now begun dubbing for the film. To mark the occasion, the makers released a video from the dubbing studio featuring the actor delivering the emotional dialogue, "I've only one daughter, and her name is Manamma," hinting at the film's strong father-daughter relationship. The video also features Baby Nakshathra and director Shiva Nirvana.
While Ravi Teja has wrapped up his shoot, the team has a few scenes left to film, which are expected to be completed over the next three days. Meanwhile, post-production work is progressing simultaneously, keeping the film on track for its theatrical release on August 21.
Music composer GV Prakash Kumar has also begun the re-recording work after delivering the successful first single. The makers have announced that the film's second single will be released soon.
Ravi Teja will be seen in one of the most intense and emotionally driven roles of his career, playing a devoted father. Priya Bhavani Shankar stars as the female lead, while Baby Nakshathra plays their daughter. Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh, Ramesh Indira, and Swasika will be seen in pivotal roles.
Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, Irumudi boasts a strong technical team, with Vishnu Sarma handling cinematography, Sahi Suresh as production designer, Prawin Pudi as editor, and GV Prakash Kumar composing the music, which is expected to be one of the film's major highlights.
