Producer Sudhakar Cherukuri, who earlier backed Nani's Dasara and is currently producing the big-budget film The Paradise with the actor, has also been encouraging content-driven films. His next production, KJQ – King Jackie Queen, introduces Shashi Odela as one of the lead actors.

Dheekshith Shetty, who starred opposite Rashmika Mandanna in The Girlfriend, plays the lead in KJQ – King Jackie Queen, while Yukti Thareja plays the female lead. Directed by KK, the film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under his SLV Cinemas banner. The makers have now announced that the film will hit the screens on August 7.

While Sudhakar Cherukuri continues to bankroll big-budget commercial films, he is also backing intriguing projects like KJQ – King Jackie Queen under the SLV Cinemas banner. Set against the backdrop of the 1990s, the film is a period crime drama featuring Dheekshith Shetty in the lead. Shashi Odela is making her acting debut with the film, while Yukti Thareja plays another key role.

The film was directed by KK, who passed away last year. As a tribute to his passion and vision for cinema, the makers are bringing the film to audiences. The unique title, striking first-look poster and powerful teaser have already generated considerable buzz around the project.
