Prabhas is currently juggling multiple projects, and one among them is Fauji. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and presented by T-Series’ Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar. Imanvi plays the female lead, marking her Telugu film debut with this project.

The makers have now officially confirmed that Fauji will release during the Dasara festival this year. While the festival falls on October 20, the team has not specified an exact release date yet, stating only that the film will arrive for Dasara. It appears the makers are planning to capitalise on the extended festive holidays.

According to the team, Prabhas will be seen in a completely different look compared to his earlier films. Set against a military backdrop, Fauji is also said to have a strong period element. The makers have further revealed that they plan to shoot the film continuously until completion, ensuring an uninterrupted production schedule.

The film also boasts a supporting cast that includes Mithun Chakraborty, Jayaprada, Anupam Kher, Bhanu Chander, and Rahul Ravindran.

Meanwhile, Prabhas has a packed lineup ahead. He has already committed dates to Sandeep Reddy Vanga for Spirit, and the makers of Kalki 2 have also announced that the sequel will go on floors soon. With several big-budget projects in various stages of production, Prabhas continues to remain one of the busiest stars in Indian cinema.

With Fauji locked for a Dasara release, Prabhas’ upcoming slate includes Spirit, scheduled for release on March 5, 2027, followed by Kalki 2 and Salaar 2.
