Ram Charan’s Peddi was scheduled for release on March 27, coinciding with the actor’s birthday. However, the film is now likely to be postponed. According to sources, a portion of the shoot is still pending, and the makers do not want to rush the process, prompting the decision to delay the release.
Similarly, Nani’s The Paradise, which was slated for a March 26 release, is also not arriving as planned. Producer Cherukuri Sudhakar had earlier hinted that only about 60 per cent of the film had been completed and that it might eventually move to a summer release window.
With both Peddi and The Paradise moving away from that date, Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh is now all set to arrive in theatres on March 27, sources add.
Directed by Harish Shankar, Ustaad Bhagat Singh features Sreeleela and Raashi Khanna as the female leads. The film has wrapped up shooting, and post-production work is currently underway. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the team has already begun promotions and is now stepping them up further.
“Mythri Movie Makers is producing Ustaad Bhagat Singh and is also associated with Ram Charan’s Peddi. Since it became clear that Peddi may not release as planned, the production house asked Harish Shankar to fast-track the post-production work of Ustaad Bhagat Singh,” a source revealed.
