Sara Arjun has quickly emerged as one of the most talked-about young actors in Indian cinema, especially after the massive success of Dhurandhar. She will next be seen in the Telugu film Euphoria, directed by Gunasekhar, in which she plays the character Chitra. The youthful drama is slated for release next month, and its promotional activities recently kicked off in Hyderabad, with Sara attending the event.
Much to everyone’s surprise, Sara began her interaction by addressing the audience in fluent Telugu. “It feels great to be back here and meet the Telugu audience after a long time,” she said, drawing applause from those present. She went on to express her gratitude towards director Gunasekhar, calling it an honour to work under his direction. “I just want to make all of you proud with this film,” she added.
When asked about her favourite actor in Tollywood, Sara said that it was difficult to pick just one. However, she admitted that at the moment, Vijay Deverakonda stands out for her. “There are many actors I admire, but right now, I really like Vijay Deverakonda,” she said with a smile.
Speaking about her roles in Dhurandhar and Euphoria, Sara said she never compares characters based on difficulty. “I don’t look at roles in terms of which one is tougher. I see them as human beings and try to portray them honestly,” she explained. According to her, that approach helps her connect better with the characters she plays.
When asked to elaborate on her role in Euphoria, Sara chose to remain guarded. She described Chitra as a very sensitive character and said she did not want to reveal too much. “It’s a delicate subject, and I want the audience to experience it for the first time on screen,” she said, adding that the emotional journey of the character is best felt while watching the film.
Comparing Dhurandhar and Euphoria, Sara said the two films are completely different in terms of culture, setting and storytelling. “The worlds of these films are very different, so there is no point in comparing them,” she said.
Sara Arjun remained the centre of attention throughout the event, winning hearts not just with her confident presence but also with her ease in Telugu. With Euphoria gearing up for release, the young actor seems all set to further strengthen her connection with Telugu audiences. Bhumika Chawla is playing an important role in this film.
