The trailer for actor Varalaxmi Sarathkumar's directorial debut, Saraswathi, has been released. The actor is also producing the film and headlining the cast.

The trailer of Saraswathi, hints at a curious case of two missing children and the legal impact of the case on a couple of mothers.

Varalaxmi is directing Saraswathi from a story by Sai Madhav Burra. Pooja Sarathkumar is also producing alongside the director under the Dosa Diaries banner. Anthony Praveen Daniel is serving as the executive producer on the film. Meanwhile, ETV Win has bagged the OTT rights on Saraswathi.

The cast of the film also includes Prakash Raj, Priya Mani, Kishore, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Radhika Sarathkumar, Nasser, Thulasi, Sapthagiri, Srikanth Iyengar, Mime Gopi, Hareesh Peradi, Raghu Babu, Getup Srinu, Venkat, Niveksha, and Pramila Rani.

Thaman is composing music for Saraswathi. The crew of the film also includes AM Edwin Sakay as the director of photography, Venkat Raajen as the editor, Sudheer Macharla as the art director, and Nandhu Master as the stunt choreographer.
