On the occasion of Kashika Kapoor's birthday, the actor announced that she is on board the cast of Golden Productions, upcoming film. The first look at her character, Gayathri, was also unveiled.

The film, which is tentatively titled Production No 1, is directed by AK Jamapanna, who has previously written and directed Rechipodam Brother (2022). Thota Lakshmi Koteshwara Rao is producing the film. A pooja ceremony was conducted in August 2025, in the presence of Sahu Garapati, director Veera Shankar, and Vivek Kuchibotla.

Gagan Vihari, who was seen in Odela 2 among other things is also starring in the upcoming film.

Anup Rubens is composing music with lyrics by Oscar winner Chandrabose, and Purna Chari. The crew of the film also consists of VK Rama Raju as the director of photography and JK Murthy as the art director.

Kashika is known for Aayushmati Geeta Matric Pass (2024) and LYF: Love Your Father (2025).
