Actor Raj Tarun’s last film Paanch Minar was released in November last year and received some positive reviews. The actor signed a few films after that, and most of them are currently in the production stage. One of his upcoming films, directed by Rithwik Kumar, has now announced its title and unveiled the first look.

The film is titled Tortoise. Before this, the makers released a video featuring Avasarala Srinivasa Rao, in which a young hero is seen sleepwalking in front of him, though his face was not revealed. Now, the makers have revealed that the young hero is Raj Tarun, while Avasarala Srinivasa Rao is also playing a key role in the film.

It seems Raj Tarun is playing a character who has a habit of sleepwalking. Director Rithwik Kumar has also provided the story and screenplay and written the dialogues for Tortoise. Amrutha Chowdary is playing the female lead, while Dhanya Balakrishna is also part of the film in an important role.

Tortoise is being produced by Vijai Chowdary, Sasidhar Nalla and Ramisetti Rambabu under the banners of SK Golden Arts, Prashvitha Entertainment and NVL Creations. According to the makers, the film is touted to be an intense action thriller that blends suspense and drama.

The video featuring Avasarala Srinivasa Rao went viral on social media and created curiosity among movie lovers. Bringing an end to the suspense, the makers have now revealed Raj Tarun as the young hero along with the title and first look on Sunday.

Manasa Kumar and Santhosh Emmadi are serving as co-producers. The first-look poster released along with the title announcement has created considerable interest around the film. In the poster, Raj Tarun is seen sitting beside a dead body, with bloodstains on him, while a knife lies next to him. The intriguing visual suggests that Raj Tarun is portraying an intense and distinctive character unlike anything he has attempted in his career so far. The makers are expected to reveal more updates about Tortoise soon.
