Sree Vishnu is one of the actors who is busy with multiple projects, and now one of his upcoming films, Comrade Kalyan, has announced a major update. Janakiram Marella is directing the film, while popular writer Kona Venkat is presenting it. Produced by Venkata Krishna Karnati and Seetha Karnati under Skanda Vahana Motion Pictures LLP, the makers have announced that the film will hit the screens on October 9.
Popularly known as the King of Entertainment, Sree Vishnu is set to explore a new world with Comrade Kalyan, which blends action with an intriguing period backdrop, along with elements of romance and emotion. Set against the Andhra-Odisha border in 1992, the film features Mahima Nambiar as the female lead. Following the positive response to the title glimpse and the first two singles, the makers have now announced the release date.
The makers are targeting the Dasara holidays with the film’s release on October 9. The release date announcement poster further highlights the film’s distinctive revolutionary setting. The poster also features Satya and Mukku Avinash alongside Sree Vishnu as fellow comrades.
While the armed men establish the serious backdrop of the story, their cheerful expressions bring a lighter and entertaining flavour, suggesting that the film will combine action with humour and emotion.
Radhika Sarathkumar, Shine Tom Chacko and Upendra Limaye are also playing key roles in the film. The movie has a talented technical team, with Vijay Bulganin composing the music, Sai Sriram handling the cinematography and Chota K Prasad taking care of the editing.
