Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan is currently busy with multiple Telugu projects, and one of the most awaited among them is Sri Sri, directed by debutant Ravi Nelakuditi. Cherukuri Sudhakar is producing the film under the SLV Cinemas banner, which marks the production house's milestone 10th venture.

Pooja Hegde plays the female lead opposite Dulquer Salmaan. The team has now returned to Hyderabad after completing an extensive overseas schedule in Budapest, Hungary, where several important scenes were filmed. Dulquer Salmaan, Pooja Hegde and Deekshith Shetty participated in the schedule, and with this, the makers have almost completed the film's shoot.

Recently, the team unveiled the film's first look and released the song 'Bomma Bomma', which received a good response from the audience. According to sources, Pooja Hegde's character plays a crucial role in the story, with much of the narrative revolving around her. The film is expected to be an important one in her career, especially as she looks to make a strong comeback in Telugu cinema after the blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020). She has appeared in a few Telugu films after that.

Meanwhile, Dulquer Salmaan continues to strengthen his presence in Telugu cinema with multiple projects. Along with Sri Sri, he is also close to completing Aakasamlo Oka Thara. His previous Telugu film, Lucky Baskhar, was a major success, and director Venky Atluri even won the National Award for Best Dialogues for the film.

Apart from Dulquer Salmaan and Pooja Hegde, Deekshith Shetty plays another important role in Sri Sri. The makers have announced that the film's release date will be revealed soon.

One of the biggest advantages for the makers is Dulquer Salmaan's popularity across multiple languages. They are planning to release Sri Sri simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada, with a Hindi release also under consideration. The film has music by GV Prakash Kumar, while Anay Goswamy is handling the cinematography.
