SS Rajamouli's upcoming action adventure film, Varanasi, has been announced to feature in an exclusive panel at the Comic Con Experience (CCXP) Mexico 2026. Starring Mahesh Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in lead roles, the film has generated massive buzz ever since its initial glimpse was unveiled at an event in Hyderabad a few months ago.

Producer SS Karthikeya will present a special segment,on April 24 at the Thunder Stage, titled “Varanasi to the World”, offering audiences an exclusive look into the film. The presentation will include a video message from Rajamouli, along with never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage. The session will conclude with a live interaction, giving fans a rare opportunity to engage with the team and gain insights into one of India’s most ambitious cinematic projects.

Varanasi has already created a strong impact globally, with its first glimpse being unveiled at the Trailer Festival at Le Grand Rex in Paris — Europe’s largest cinema screen — where it received an electrifying response, with audiences applauding from the very first frame.

Adding to the growing excitement, the makers have revealed Mahesh Babu’s powerful look as Rudhra, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s intense avatar as Kumbha, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s commanding presence as Mandakini. The film is slated for a massive worldwide theatrical release on April 7, 2027.
