The makers of Vaazha 2: Biopic of a Billion Bros have announced that the Telugu-dubbed version of the film will release in theatres on April 24, expanding its reach beyond the Malayalam market amid an already record-breaking run. Directed by Savin SA and written by Vipin Das, the second instalment in the Vaazha franchise released originally on April 2 and has reportedly emerged as the biggest Malayalam success of the year so far, grossing more than ₹175 crores worldwide.

With its theatrical momentum still strong, Vaazha 2 is now on course to cross ₹200 crore globally and ₹100 crore from Kerala alone in the coming days. Headlined by social media personalities including Hashir, Alan, Vinayak and Ajin, the film continues the franchise’s focus on introducing new talent. While not a direct sequel to Vaazha: Biopic of a Billion Boys (2024), the second instalment follows similar themes centred on young people navigating social and familial pressures.

Meanwhile, the franchise is set to continue with Vaazha 3: Biopic of a Billion Girls, which will shift focus to female-led storytelling. The third instalment will be directed by Viswan Sreejith, with Vipin Das returning as writer and co-producer. Filming is expected to begin next year.
