Actor Varun Tej’s upcoming entertainer Korean Kanakaraju is progressing at a brisk pace, with director Merlapaka Gandhi currently wrapping up the final leg of shooting. Backed by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment, the film promises a lively mix of horror, humour and cross-cultural elements set across India and Korea. Varun Tej, who has undergone a striking makeover for the role, is expected to surprise audiences with a fresh characterization.

The team has now unveiled the film’s first single, ‘Kamsahamnida’. Composed by SS Thaman, the song opens with Ritika Nayak playfully saying 'Kamsahamnida,' which prompts Varun Tej’s character to ask its meaning. Her reply — 'thank you' in Korean — sets the tone for the budding romance between them.

The track carries a breezy and lively vibe, blending subtle Korean influences with catchy mainstream elements. Kasarla Shyam’s lyrics capture the innocence of new love, while Sid Sriram’s soothing and expressive vocals enhance the emotional appeal. Choreographer Yash Master adds visual charm with graceful and energetic dance moves that complement the song’s mood.

‘Kamsahamnida’ sets the tone for the film’s promotions, hinting at both the romance and fun elements the film promises. Earlier, the title glimpse released on Varun Tej’s birthday created strong buzz and quickly went viral for its stylish presentation and quirky tone. It offered a peek into the eccentric world of Korean Kanakaraju, suggesting a refreshing horror-comedy packed with entertainment.

With the shoot nearing completion, the makers are expected to announce the release date soon, further building anticipation around this unique entertainer.
