While the makers are yet to officially announce a new release date for Ram Charan’s Peddi, the film’s post-production work is progressing at a brisk pace. Cinematographer R Rathnavelu recently shared glimpses of the colour grading process, along with a few visuals from the film.

Peddi is one of the most anticipated films of 2026. Along with Ram Charan in the lead, the film also stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, with Jagapathi Babu in a pivotal role. The project has generated massive buzz ever since its announcement.

After introducing Ram Charan as a rustic village cricketer, the makers recently showcased his transformation into a wrestler in the Peddi Pehelwan look, which left fans impressed with his intense new avatar. With each new update — especially after the success of the song ‘Chikiri Chikiri’ — the film’s hype continues to grow.

As the release approaches, excitement is steadily building. Rathnavelu took to social media to share behind-the-scenes moments from the colour grading process. He was seen working with renowned colourist Andreas Brueckl, offering a glimpse into the film’s visual detailing.

The post included pictures from the grading suite along with stills from the film, highlighting the rich visual tone and the meticulous effort going into crafting the film’s look.

Music for the film is composed by AR Rahman, and the songs have already garnered millions of views across platforms, setting the tone for its musical success.

Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma and Rao Ramesh in key roles. The film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, in association with Mythri Movie Makers. It was initially slated for release on April 30, 2026.
