Actor Thiruveer is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Papam Pratap. The actor, who recently scored a success with The Great Pre-Wedding Show, is confident that his new film will strike a chord with audiences when it releases on April 17.

The Great Pre-Wedding Show also won recognition at the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards, adding to Thiruveer’s growing popularity.

Speaking about Papam Pratap, Thiruveer said, “Director Naresh narrated the story to me. Even though he is a newcomer, he has made the film even more beautifully than the way he narrated it. I am confident that Papam Pratap is going to be a success.”

SP Durga Naresh is making his directorial debut with the film. It is being jointly produced by Rakesh Reddy Gaddam and Rudradev Madireddy under the Krishi Entertainments banner.

Papam Pratap is also significant because it marks the comeback of music director KM Radhakrishnan, who is known for his memorable work in films such as Anand, Godavari, Chandamama and several others.

As part of the film’s promotions, the makers unveiled the song 'Pillekkadundi'. The track has been sung by Ram Miriyala, while the lyrics have been written by Suddala Ashok Teja.

Talking about working with KM Radhakrishnan, director SP Durga Naresh said, “I grew up listening to Radhakrishnan garu’s songs. When I narrated the story to him, he immediately agreed to be part of the project. We worked on the song Pillekkadundi for nearly two months.” ETV Win is backing up this project.
