Ravi Teja's Mass Jathara to release on October 31: Reports

The upcoming Ravi Teja action entertainer was earlier postponed due to shoots delays amidst film workers’ strike

Ravi Teja, who has failed to score a box office hit with his last few ventures like Eagle and Mr Bachchan, is gearing up for his next release Mass Jathara. The film, also starring Sreeleela, was earlier scheduled to release in August before the makers decided to postpone it due to shoot delays. The makers are reportedly eyeing a release date of October 31.

While an official confirmation is yet to arrive from the team, producer Naga Vamsi while replying to a film-goer on his X page a few days ago, clarified that they will announce the new release date on the occasion of Dussehra. “From October 2 onwards, it’s gonna be back-to-back updates and promotions. Get ready to see our Energetic Mass Maharaaj Ravi Teja garu lighting up the big screens with full-on mass entertainment coming your way,” Vamsi had penned.  With Jatadhara releasing on November and Diwali weekend brimming with three releases — Telusu Kada, Mithra Mandali and K-Ramp, October 31 seems the most likely date where Mass Jathara could enjoy a decent release window without being affected by other films.

Directed by Bhanu Bogavarapu, Mass Jathara promises to be a quintessential crowd-pleaser right in Ravi Teja’s comfort zone. Bhanu, making his directorial debut, has previously worked as a writer on films like #Single and Samajavaragamana.

Produced under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, the film has music by Bheems Ceciroleo, with two songs already released. Cinematography is handled by Vidhu Ayyanna, editing by Navin Nooli, and production design by Nagendra Tangala. The action entertainer also reunites Ravi Teja and Sreeleela, who last worked together in Dhamaka.

Naga Vamsi’s other upcoming films include Anaganaga Oka Raju with Naveen Polishetty and Meenakshi Chaudhary in the lead.
